Solar Installation Service

Our installation team are a SAPVIA PV Green Card Verified Company. We therefore offer you full peace of mind that only qualified electricians are on duty to provide the installation service, issue you a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and sign off the SSEG documentation.

For the indicated fee, you get everything needed to get your system installed and certified as compliant:

1. Labour and electrician services to perform the installation and commission the system
2. All Cables (various as per SANS) *(refer to notes below)
3. Earth and related wiring as needed  *(refer to notes below)
   
4. Solar PV Module Mounting structures
5. Distribution boxes as needed
6. AC/DC Switchgear and wiring (full compliance with SANS requirements) as needed
7. Circuit breakers, fuses and surge protection as needed
8. Consumables
9. Certificate of Compliance (if we are installing an Inverter or both Solar Panels AND Inverter)
10. SSEG Documentation and Facilitation (if we are installing both Solar Panels and Inverter i.e. FULL installation)

Notes:

A) If we are installing Solar Panels only (i.e no inverters or batteries), our fee is exclusive of the Certificate of Compliance and SSEG documentation and facilitation. Please let us know if you would like us to add this service to your invoice.

B) If we are installing an Inverter, our fee also includes installation of batteries at no extra charge. The listed fee includes wiring and trunking up to 7,5m to and from the Main DB to inverter only. Extra wiring and trunking will be billed per meter at cost +5%.

C) Our fee for solar panel installation includes up to 25m of red, black and earth solar cable. Any extra cable used will be billed to you at cost +5%.

D) Flat roofs: If you have a flat IBR roof, our fee includes the angled brackets to ensure your panels have the correct pitch. Concrete roofs may require Lintels which are billed separately.

E) If we are just installing batteries to an existing system or replacing an existing inverter and reusing existing wiring, our fee is a flat R4500 inc VAT.
